Q.	Why TJC Messenger instead of other instant messenger programs?
A.	There are several reasons to choose TJC Messenger: 1. Security. Most IM programs operate by sending your message by means of the internet, not only does this waste bandwidth, but it is also very insecure.  TJC Messenger keeps all messages inside your office so that they cannot be observed by others.  This method is preferred because it doesn't require an internet connection. 2. Legality. Many popular free programs are not licensed to be used in a business environment.  They are only licensed for home use and a violation of this license could potentially be costly if a software audit is invoked. 3. Privacy. TJC Messenger does not install additional software known as "spyware". All TJC Messenger user activity is not recorded.
Q.	What systems does TJC Messenger run on?
A.	TJC Messenger runs on Windows XP, Vista, 2000, NT, ME, 98.  Click here for a complete list of system requirements.
Q.	When a message is received, how am I notified?
A.	TJC Messenger can optionally play a sound when messages are received.  A notification window will also display briefly in the lower right hand corner of the screen.  See screenshot to the right.
